A Great Few Years To Come
The next few years are looking to be our busiest ever, please follow us either on our website or those dedicated to our individual artworks
Having completed the Dudley Canal Sculptures installation, Bearwood Primary School, The Halezowen Gateways Project, gotten Married and begun new commissions 2011 was a big year for our Director Luke, but no rest for the wicked, 2012 looks to be bigger yet.
The Chainmakers Monument
This incredibly prestigious commission will be installed in Cradley Heath at the Heart of the Black Country in our home town.
It will open in June 2012 however there is a lot going on this year with, much of the off site fabrication and design works as well as landscaping to be done in 2011.
We have also been appointed to design the landscaping for the park and to be involved in it's build and installation.
This will be our most ambitious commission to date.

The Stourbridge
Lion
I.H.S. has been asked to design and build a series of artworks for the new crown centre development in Stourbridge. It's early days yet but a likely theme is the Stourbridge Lion and the town's rich history as an independant hotbed of artisanship.
Dudley Guest New
Village
Finally, we have been appointed as consultants to Wates development and will be working with them to create the new Village on the site of the Dudley Guest Hospital.
This village will set a precedant for new developments on a National Scale.
Saltwells Nature Reserve
The Spring of 2012 will see a series of Blacksmithed Woodland Animals made from industrial parts installed in the Saltwells Nature Reserve in Netherton.
This light hearted commission will be a joy to local kids and hopefully a fascination to engineers and tinkerers alike. Dragons, Squirrells, Owls and Bats will be some of the over life sized creatures welded together from re-cycled industrial parts sourced in the local area.
Bleak House Library
This newly re-furbished library in Smethwick will be home to a series of steel page installations designed by local school children. Opening its reading garden in April 2012 the Library will soon be home to a windswept wall of metal pages!
Grace Academy Darlaston
IHS has proudly been commissioned to work alongside Kier Construction and the Grace Academy to design, fabricate and install a series of Stainless steel lifesized figures representing local industrial heritage, the recent history of the area and the future of education in the academy.
This exciting commisiion will open up a new avenue in the visual language of our work. The use of light Stainles steel forms in a figurative three dimensional approach, some suspended from the interior framework of the new Academy will be a real progression in our work visually. Using state of the art technologies to produce these figures we will still be true to our industral roots, however this is will be a move from the solid language of our past works to a new lighter and more gracefull artwork, appropriate to the Academies noble ethos.
