Projects Within Education
I.H.S. is not solely an organisation of Public Monument Builders, we are eager to work in any sphere which can bring education and enthusiasm of our heritage.
From murals to sensory gardens and from sunken galleons in playgrounds to assemblies and workshops our artists and fabricators (all CRB checked) have worked with hundreds of kids around the country on projects which engage them practically and thoughtfully in exploring their culture's history.
In every project which we have undertaken we have endeavoured to involve as many kids as possible in a hands on approach to making history in their schools.
On all occasions our principles which apply to our public artwork apply also to our work within schools, build quality and sustainable, low maintenance final pieces are paramount. As anyone who works within educaton knows, things which kids use mst be robust, or they'll just end up bust.
We have worked all over the U.K. with all age ranges and abilities of kids, and to be honestit's one of the most rewarding things that we do.
Natalie Perry is the chief artist within our educational projects, for an insight into her work please visit www.nataliegore.co.uk
